Blogger word verification not working for some
February 24, 2009 at 9:28 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | 2 CommentsTags: Blog, Blogger, blogspot.com, captcha, loading, problem, word verification
I have friends who have blogs hosted on Blogger (Blogspot.com) and some of them are experiencing a problem with the word verification in the comments section which refuses to load.
Here’s a work-around that worked with one of them (allowed the captcha to come up) without turning your spam-block off:
Go to your Settings | Comments tab, and then change your Comment Placement to either ‘Full page’ or ‘Pop up’

Heh, some of them might be experiencing the problems because captchas are a pita. I wrote a blog post about them today (http://dpatrickcaldwell.blogspot.com/2009/02/completely-automated-public-turing-test.html), and in my research, I’ve found that bots are better and deciphering captchas than humans are in some cases.
