Tara came home from school with me today.

“I’m so sick and tired of school,” I told her, so we relaxed in the hot tub, until it was time for her to go home. Tara’s dad came to fetch her, and mom and dad came down to meet him.

Mom and Armand seemed to get along well – they liked to read the same books for one – so I was hoping that she’d get off my case about Tara! Mom thinks I’m sweet on Tara, but the truth is, she’s just a friend, and we are NOT dating at all.

But still, before I went to bed, mom gave me a lecture about NOT getting engaged anytime soon – AS IF! I don’t even have a girlfriend!

I know where she’s coming from – she’s scared that I’ll end up like my ‘no good’ Uncle Geoff.  So she makes sure that I do my homework every single day.

And I have to do chores around the apartment. I hate mopping the floor, but what can you do? She made my dad stand behind me to make sure I did a good job.

I didn’t mind repairing the hot tub, though; I find that I like to tinker around mechanical things. I end up breaking everything, but that’s okay, I like to repair them back to new anyhow, and the landlord never needs to know.

I’m so tired and sleepy right now, but even when I’m daydreaming, my mom can’t leave me alone! Aaaarg!

Bloggers note:

Justin is such an uptight teen right now – I have a feeling he is going to rebel against his mom soon! 😉

P.S. I just found this new sims2 blog which is pretty awesome – Apple Valley – which is a sims-to-sims site. I can’t believe how the blogger set it up! Pretty amazing.  I guess my blog is shaping up kinda like one, too, but nowhere like Apple Valley. But like I’ve said, I’m still figuring out how I want to do this, and I guess future posts may also have me presenting what happened as a story instead of just with blogs, so who knows?

  1. Aww, thanks so much for linking my site. Keep up the good work with Sim State.

    • Oh, thanks for visiting! I have to say, I love your Apple Valley site – the sims 2 sims thing makes it so realistic! I can’t quite do what you do – but I like reading about how your hood runs.
